The Queen Wears
Pink Pajamas

Editorial design + conceptual thinking, created at LUCA School of Arts in 2021

The Queen Wears Pink Pajamas is an alternative guide to Buckingham Palace — in which the reader follows the lead and narrative of Michael Fagan, who broke into the palace twice and even ended up in the Queen’s bedroom.

Structure-wise, the white pages remain truthful to the objective facts and history of the palace, while the pink pages enable the space for Michael’s take on the events. It’s enriches the reading experience for the reader, to keep track of their unexpected tour guide and follow him until the very end — when they finally reach the Queen’s sleeping chamber and discover the truth.

This book is for London tourists, dedicated fans of Queen Elizabeth, and those secretly interested in juicy Urban Legends.
